Festival Leaves:
(A)  2 Optional Festival leaves introduced by diverting 2 Privilege Leaves.
(B)  2 leaves are being diverted from the existing 8 privilege leave towards “Festival Leaves” head and is a optional leave.
(C)  This 2 leaves can be taken only as per the list provided one at a time, both cannot be taken in continuation or cannot be clubbed with other holidays, except when it falls as per the days mentioned.
(D)  Any un-availed festival leave shall lapse at the end of the year.
(E)  The leaves will be available in ESS as “Festival leaves” followed by the selection of “festival” from the dropdown list provided.
(F)  Can be availed on any 2 festivals in the year over and above the declared holiday list provided in the separate list of optional leaves.
(G)  Those who have already exhausted the 8 PLs in the month of Jan cannot avail this facility in this calendar year.
(H)  The PL balance will reduce by 2 leaves effective 1st Feb 2014 and migrate under festival leaves.
(I)  This leave has to be applied well in advance and can be taken only if reporting manager approves the same.
(J)  The rules for availing PL continues to be the same.
